What the devil planned for evil, God turned for good. We partnered with Pastors Stoney, Mardolly Ball and Iglesia Nueva Generacion (New Generation Church) for this Tent Revival Event. We were brought together through a JGLM prayer request. They were 7 months along in pregnancy when all of the sudden the baby stopped moving. We immediately started praying and commanding life into the baby but the child went to be with the Lord. A few days later Stoney contacted me to thank me for standing with him in prayer and we decided that day that the devil would pay for what he did and “Kingdom Come” Tent Revival was birthed.

Evangelism
The weekend prior to the Tent Revival, Kingdom Fire Family met up for a day of street evangelism in Sturgis. We got together, passed out flyers and shared the love of Christ with the community. During the time of evangelism, there were younger believers who stepped out for the first time to share their faith with others. During the course of the day, they experienced the Lord heal people, deliver people, give words of knowledge, divine encounters and connections and one of the young men mentioned “This day totally changed my life”. It was an amazing experience! Also during the street evangelism, Stoney and Justin had a divine encounter with an amazing family.
“…do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5
The family (Chris and Krystle) that we met during evangelism the week prior didn’t show up to the tent revival, so during the portion of the revival where we take to the streets, we went back to their house to see how they were doing. We found out that during the week, they had the most devastating week they’ve ever had. Krystle said “I had a devil on my shoulder and when you came around you chased him off! Now our lives are worse than ever.” We had the opportunity to talk with Chris and told him about the Revival happening right down the road. He said he wasn’t sure if anyone else would come, but he might be there. Within an hour, Chris, Krystle and their daughter, Em, all came to join us! During an alter call, Chris ran up front and gave his life to the Lord. Afterward Em came up and did the same. We spoke about water baptisms and Chris and Em decided to get water baptized after receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Krystle was still unsure, but after a divine encounter with a “White Light” she decided she was going to give her life to the Lord as well. They all received water and Holy Spirit baptisms and their lives haven’t been the same since. An amazing testimony and story of a true transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit.

There were 5 people that were water baptized this weekend, each one of them also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and received their prayer language. It was a truly an amazing weekend that was life transforming for our team, Pastor Stoney and many of the people who came.
